Are We Capable of Performing Divine Acts?

Calm Is A Superpower

Divine Superstars

Our research suggests there are higher-consciousness entities – whether they’re seen as celestial gods (Bhagavad Gita: 7:20, 10:2), spiritual masters, yogis, gurus, wanderers, or logoi (Law of One, 13:5-7) – who incarnate into lower-density planets and planes of existence, in part, to provide humanity with concrete examples of our unified divinity. Think about that for a second fellow souls. Were humanity never given a glimpse of divinity in the flesh, would we be utterly oppressed by the delusion that we can’t transcend our mortality (Autobiography of a Yogi, 33:265)?

Swami Mukundananda (Bhakti Yog Saint & Yoga Teacher) even explains that Source ensures there are spiritual masters present in every era to guide sincere seekers and inspire humanity (Bhagavad Gita, 6:5). This suggests that adepts, healers, sages, gurus, yogis, and other spiritual masters have been present and possibly performing divine acts for centuries. Saints like Sri Anandamayi Ma (1896 – 1982), clairvoyants like Edgar Cayce (1877 – 1945), healers like Jesus (6-4 BC – 30-33 AD), and countless others serve as examples of our innate, divine capabilities. Does Trailanga Swami (Yogi & Mystic, 1607 – 1887) ring a bell? Talk about inspiration. Trailanga mastered the ability to remain under water for long periods of time, according to Autobiography of a Yogi (31:249-250). Mind. Blown.

Even though this type of inspiration is readily accessible, why are there still so many doubters of our unified divinity? Is it the fear of shattering paradigms or willful ignorance of the truth that leads so many to believe that only one man was the Son of God and only one man could awaken the divine light within? It doesn’t help that some religious institutions are more focused on acquiring power and hiding the truth (Edgard Cayce Reading, 2067-7) versus helping others seek Source within. No worries. The good news is that the tide seems to be turning. Even the mainstream scientific community is starting to warm up to the idea that superpowers or anomalous phenomena could be real.

So when we reference spiritual masters like Jesus Christ, we speak with the utmost gratitude. It’s through their divine acts of love and devotion that we can recognize that the kingdom of Source is not somewhere far away or confined to one specific building or person. Source is within all of us.

Acts of Healing and Energy Manipulation

Our research strongly suggests that higher-consciousness entities are capable of performing divine acts and miracles. Even level 3 consciousness entities are capable of performing divine acts of healing and other miracles to some extent. Think about this for a second fellow souls. We can make our bodies healthier or sicker based on our thoughts – think of the placebo effect. We can also unlock dormant abilities like intuition and consciously controlling our dreams (lucid dreaming). Most of these superpowers, abilities, or gifts tend to lie dormant in us until we put in the time, effort, and practice to activate them.

As we access higher consciousness levels, it’s said that we can gain more profound abilities like:

Based on our karma, it’s also said that we can be given special gifts, talents, and abilities (divine providence), like a talent for earning wealth or athleticism (Bhagavad Gita, 18:14). It also appears we have the capability to transform or transmute energies into different states, degrees, conditions, and polarities. Pagans and master alchemists — like Maria Prophetissa (0 – 3 CE), Hermes Trismegistus, and Robert Boyle (1627 – 1691) — have been practicing alchemy for centuries. The Kybalion (C10) explains that transforming energy is easier when the energies are considered opposites in the same polarity class — like transforming cold water into hot water. Was Jesus an alchemist? Jesus was said to have turned water into wine (Bible: John: 2:1-11).

Is it possible that when the self is in communion with a higher power, nature automatically obeys (Autobiography of a Yogi, 35:290)? For example, John Chang (Qigong Practitioner & Healer, 1934 – 2020) was said to be able to light things on fire with his hands. Abilities can also be increased in groups of like-minded entities. The Law of One (83:17) refers to this as the doubling effect, which has been corroborated scientifically by the Maharishi Effect. Even the mainstream scientific community is starting to acknowledge the possibility that we are both human and superhuman, according to Professor Jeffrey Kripal, PhD.

Good Works for the Right Reasons

It’s said that once we access higher consciousness levels, we can counterbalance or overcome the laws of lower planes of existence and densities. This would enable us to influence energy on a much more comprehensive level through manifestationpsionics (telepathy, clairvoyance, precognition, and retrocognition), and other energy practices. This doesn’t seem all that far-fetched. Autobiography of a Yogi (43:355-356) explains that our influence is greater on higher planes of existence. For example, on the subtle astral plane entities are said to materialize objects and forms purely by will since there are less restrictions.

We must remember fellow souls, that with great power comes great responsibility. Using abilities selfishly, unconsciously, egoistically, and recklessly can lead to harm. Our resources stress the importance of performing divine acts or miracles for the right reasons, such as for spiritual development versus material gain. Good works for the wrong reasons can confuse (Law of One, 103:8) and not performing abilities consciously can be dangerous. Is this why we rarely see miracles being performed out in the open anymore?

How do we know if we’re performing good works for the right reasons? The Bhagavad Gita (8:7, 9:27-28) suggests one way to know. We ask ourselves one question while doing any work, duty, or act. Are we thinking of Source? Perhaps any work done for or through Source is done for the right reason. This coincides with the Law of One Study Guide (12:2-3) which suggests that we should perform acts without taking credit for the acts themselves. Could offering every activity as service to Source free us from karma?

Our research also suggests that we should perform acts on others only if requested. In other words, free will is paramount, according to the Law of One (36:12). Could this be the reason why Jesus spoke through a veil in parables — to leave room for those not wishing to hear (Law of One, 73:13-15)?
