Soul on a Journey is like a spiritual online journal and collaborative knowledge repository. We encourage fellow souls to see what resonates and share their experiences.

Are we spiritualists – those who seek connection to something greater than themselves? Or are we mystics – those who embody a unique blend of deep inner knowing with an unquenchable thirst for the truth?
Perhaps we’re star children (e.g. volunteers, lightworkers, starseeds, indigos, crystals, hybrids, or rainbows) – those who’ve come from other dimensions or planets, incarnating on Earth to help elevate our collective consciousness. Or perhaps we’re old souls – those who’ve lived many lives and retain a deep wisdom beyond our current incarnations.
We won’t get bogged down by labels or distinctions. SoaJ exists to help illuminate our intertwining paths as we embark on spiritual journeys. Why? Because we resonate with the concepts that we are all connected and that all paths lead to the same eternal Source — ALL IS ONE. Namaskaram fellow souls.
BK Shivani
SoaJ resonates with the concept that each of us has spiritual curriculum to learn and that there are many ways to seek clarity, uncover truth, and be of service. We show compassion to ourselves and others because we've experienced firsthand how being led into a rigid belief system can be counter-productive.
In other words, we seek with discernment. Yes, we understand this can be hard, but our aim is to always direct our energy toward what serves our purpose rather than what distracts us from it.
SoaJ is inclusive and respectful of different perspectives — strength lies in community. We've gained clarity from countless fellow souls, religious texts, spiritual ideologies, scientific theories, and esoteric resources.
No, we are not trying to convert anyone to anything. We find what resonates with us in all paths and ideologies — sharing the similarities while respecting and appreciating the teachings they offer. We strive for clarity of perception — to see things as they truly are without our pesky egos, biases, and unhealthy habits getting in the way.
SoaJ recognizes that words can not fully capture spiritual truth. But, they can be a starting point for direct experience and acquiring wisdom — words without action are empty so intellectual knowledge is considered a means to an end. We strive to be fearless and fun as we step out of our comfort zones to embark on new experiences and put into practice the concepts that resonate with us.
We understand there are countless ways to navigate our paths, but we try to live authentically — aligning our actions with our inherent inner truth. No, we won't sugarcoat it — the struggle is real, but stagnation isn't an option for us. We try to embrace the good, bad, and uncertainty as opportunities for meaningful growth.
SoaJ understands the value of focusing inward and studying the nature of the self — true peace comes not from the outside world but from awakening within. We strive to turn off the internal noise so we can hear the quiet, steady voice of our inner intuition guiding us — because we resonate with the concept that awakening is not something to be acquired but realized.
Practices that help us cultivate a mindful, introspective mindset include meditating, chanting, performing breathwork and yoga, listening to inspirational music, watching insightful talks, reading ancient texts, and spending time in nature.

– Sadhguru
John B is one of SoaJ's primary content curators. His spiritual awakening began decades ago when a false identity was shattered. Sadhguru (Jaggi Vasudev), Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, and BK Shivani have been instrumental in illuminating his path.
John B’s experience tells him that human identity is not grounded in achievement or material success. He intuitively feels his purpose for this life is to unveil the darkness and corruption that has permeated our world, and actively support transformation through daily practices and sacraments that can catalyze profound spiritual experiences.
Ericka H is the Webmaster and one of the primary content curators for SoaJ. Her spiritual awakening began after reading The Bible and realizing she had many unanswered questions. Edgar Cayce's life story, the Unlocking the Soul documentary, the Law of One, and the Bhagavad Gita have been helpful in illuminating her path.
Ericka H’s intuition tells her that we are all connected to Source, that our connection to Source makes us divine by nature, and that we all have self-chosen purposes to fulfill. She instinctively feels that her purpose in this life is to illuminate the commonalities between spiritual/religious/scientific resources, be the change, and spread positivity throughout the cosmos.

The timeless wisdom of these great masters continues to transform lives every day. For us, they embody the concept that the path to liberation is not found in any one religion or belief system but in the universal values of compassion, love, wisdom, and awakening within.
