Are We Energy Transmitters & Receivers?
Laws of Vibration and Resonance
Consider the classic tuning fork experiment fellow souls. When a tuning fork is hit, the tines vibrate back and forth, creating sound waves that travel through the air. Sound waves are a type of longitudinal wave that carry energy by compressing and rarefying the medium (air). This concept is referred to as the law of vibration. The law of vibration suggests that every thought, sound, and feeling emits a unique vibration that can be picked up by others. Mind. blown. But let’s dive deeper.
When two tuning forks are pointed near each other, the sound waves from one can cause the other to vibrate and produce the same sound waves at a much greater amplitude. This concept is based on the law of acoustic resonance. The law of acoustic resonance describes how one object vibrating at a specific frequency causes another object with the same natural frequency to vibrate with increased intensity. What happens when we combine the concepts of visible sound and vibration? Well, if one vibrates a metal plate of sand using sound waves, the sand will move into geometric shapes, as demonstrated by Nigel Stanford (New York-based Musician). This is referred to as cymatics.
The question is fellow souls, do these concepts also apply to living entities like us? Could our vibrations create a resonance that attracts similar energies? Think about this for a second. What if when we think, feel, or visualize a certain thought or emotion, we’re transmitting energy through vibration throughout the cosmos? Autobiography of a Yogi (16:146) explains that the deeper our self-realization, the more we influence the universe by our subtle vibrations. Ergo, depending on various factors — including our intent level and proximity — energy that’s vibrating at the same frequency will be attracted to us, in varying degrees of course.
This implies that the energy we draw inwards and project outwards can affect everything in the material universe. Here are some examples. Mass meditation has been linked to a decline in certain city crime rates (Maharishi Effect) and rising fear levels have been linked to stock market crashes (The Science of Oneness, 3:4). The Law of One (46:8-16) even suggests that anger can manifest into cancer if used to control. Mind. Blown.
If one resonates with the concept that we’re all connected (All is One), it works both ways. Autobiography of a Yogi (26:210) explains that the subtle energy system of a human being is interrelated with the sun and 12 zodiac signs. Ergo, planetary and galactic interactions can affect our energies too. Mainstream scientific research suggests that even our sleep is modulated by moon phases. Our rambunctious, female orange tabby cat would certainly agree with that.
Law of Attraction
While mainstream science may not be onboard, the idea that we can attract what we want through our thoughts and actions is referred to as the law of attraction. It goes a little something like this — whether intentionally or unintentionally, we draw experiences and entities into our lives that vibrate at the same frequency as our dominant thoughts and emotions. Ergo, our thoughts create our reality. This is corroborated by the Law of One (50:2-5) which explains that the negative (lower, south) pole of our energy fields (auras) is the pole that attracts. It pulls experiences and entities that are magnetized to our current vibrational frequency toward us.
This isn’t that hard to fathom, right? We’ve actually experienced first-hand how our thoughts, especially fear-based ones, can rapidly snowball. This snowball will create a never-ending spiral of negativity, which lowers our vibrational frequency. This leads to catastrophe after catastrophe, leaving us thinking…could this day get any worse? Coincidence? Maybe not.
Negativity, specifically fear, is considered the most potent energy source for an entity resonating with a service to self (STS) disposition. This is because fear — and its results, such as control and separation — is in direct opposition of love and unity. Think about that for a second. When we’re radiating in a state of fear, we’re producing the exact frequency that attracts negative-oriented, self-serving entities with nefarious intentions. Guess what? These entities can leverage our fears and biases to magnify that fear, essentially fanning the flames.
It’s not hard to believe that some entities and groups feed off of fear, which allows them to maintain their negative state and exert influence (Law of One, 43:6). No worries though. When we find ourselves spiraling in negativity and depleted of higher vibrational energy, we stop the spiral by focusing on positivity and getting positive vibes to flow. We try to remember that light always overcomes darkness (The Bible: John, 1:5).
Here’s something else to consider. Could our past life karma also influence whom and what we’re magnetically attracted to and repel in our current life? Here’s an example. The Law of One (31:7-11) suggests that if we’ve experienced roughly 65% of our previous incarnations with certain sexual or ego identity preferences, then those patterns and preferences could manifest into our current incarnation. Fascinating, right?
Transferring and Blocking Energy
Transferring Energy
If one resonates with the concept that we are energy transmitters and receivers, does this also mean we can transfer energy? It’s our experience that even as level 3-4 consciousness entities, we have the ability to reflect, transfer, and absorb lower, neutral, and higher vibrational energy — to varying degrees. Based on the Law of Attraction, one could argue that energy transfers happen automatically — whether we’re conscious of them or not. This is especially true for those whose nervous system is more so designed for empathy.
Gossiping is a perfect example of transferring lower vibrational energy through thoughts and words. It’s also suggested that two level 3 consciousness entities with activated heart energy centers can transfer energy during sex (Law of One: 84:9-16, 87:27), offering energy to both — females transferring emotional/mental energy (healing, inspiration, blessing) and males transferring physical energy (protein, calcium, etc. in semen).
Even advising someone could be problematic, according to BK Shivani (Spiritual Teacher). If not done consciously, giving advice could not only interfere with someone’s karma but also entangle the advisor with that entity’s energy. Entanglement is also possible when charity is given at the wrong place or time to unworthy persons, as suggested in the Bhagavad Gita (17:22). That’s hard-hitting.
Blocking Energy
Consider this fellow souls. If energy transfers occur automatically, then this would suggest that we can’t block energy. On the other hand, with a high enough vibrational frequency, can we shield ourselves from the effects of lower and negative vibrational energies (Bhagavad Gita, 13:33) and psychic attacks? In our experience, when we’re radiating in a higher vibrational state of love, compassion, and gratitude, lower vibrational (negative) energy has very little impact on us. Meaning, we don’t experience negative energy or psychic attack symptoms like unexplainable nausea or closing of the throat, according to Sarah Elkhaldy (Spiritual Teacher & Energy Healer). Why is this?
What if entities with a service to self (STS) disposition and those radiating lower vibrational energy are unlikely to perceive or affect those vibrating in a higher state of love? Think about that for a second. It would be like a radio tuned to AM trying to pick up an FM signal; our higher vibrational frequency simply wouldn’t register to them. Another way to think about it is that we should use our minds like mirrors — refusing nothing and absorbing everything without retaining and, as a result, not being destroyed by what is absorbed. Is this how Source can be the sustainer of creation yet remain unaffected and untainted by it? As above, so below; as below, so above (The Kybalion: C2:28, C8).
Perhaps it’s also not in anyone’s best interest to send negativity or psychic attacks because what one sends, is what one attracts. Not only that, but there will also be karma associated with a psychic attack. Because of all of this, we strive to always create the right thoughts, boundaries, and responses — not reactions — as BK Shivani (Spiritual Teacher) often mentions. This will ensure that loving, high vibrational energy always radiates and acts as a protective shield, especially during times of chaos. As the Law of One (94:12) suggests, the more consistently we choose loving interpretations, the more our mindsets will shift to loving ones. As Michelle Obama once said, when they go low, we go high.
