Consistencies Between Creation Ideologies

We may never fully agree or be able to intellectually understand the creation of the material universe while occupying lower-consciousness forms. But, there appears to be consistencies between several creation ideologies. For example, one consistency is that Source (The Father/Bhagavan) directs logos (The Son/Sri Krishna/celestial gods) to vibrate spiritual energy (para prakriti) into the geometries that create the matter (apara prakriti) of the material universe.

Another consistency involves duality, polarities, and balance — much like what’s referred to in Taoism as yin/yang — with opposing energies pulsing in rhythm with each other. This includes the concept of a force, such as Satan or maya, which creates or symbolizes the illusion of our material existence.

There’s also the consistency that the microcosm and macrocosm can follow the same principles: as above, so below; as below, so above (The Kybalion: C2:28, C8). We’ve summarized the creation ideologies that resonate with us based on our limited, ongoing understanding.

Biblical Creation Ideology

Days 1-7 of Creation

The Bible (Genesis, 1:3), which is often viewed as literal rather than metaphorical in many aspects, explains that in the beginning was the Word, the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John, 1:1). It goes on to explain that God created heaven and dry land earth, with the primordial, dry land earth being absent of form and light (void). On day 1, the Spirit of God moved on the face of waters (Genesis, 1:2) to command light into existence, which was then divided into day and night (Genesis, 1:3-5). On day 2, God created the firmament (vast dome) which separated the heavenly waters above from the earthly waters below (Genesis, 1:6-8).

On day 3, the waters below were gathered into seas so that dry land of earth could finally appear and bear vegetation. This was followed by the creation of the sun, moon, and stars on day 4 to govern what appears to be time (Gen 1:9–19). The population of earth was said to begin on day 5 with sea creatures and birds, while land animals and man were created on day 6 (Gen 1:20–26). Man in this context doesn’t appear to be a reference to Adam (he comes later), but those created from God’s own image, male and female (Genesis, 1:27). Could these have been considered angels? On day 7 God rested.

Birth of Humanity

After realizing there wasn’t anyone to till the ground on dry land earth, The Bible explains that God formed man (Adam) – from the dust of the ground and the breath of life – making him into a living soul (Genesis, 2:7 & Edgar Cayce Reading 5749-3). Perhaps this refers to pure consciousness being clothed in matter to create individualized consciousness — ergo, the first entity with conscious form. Autobiography of a Yogi (16:149-150) even suggests that God transferred two souls or natures into one human body to create Adam. But we digress…

After creating Adam, The Bible explains that God planted a garden eastward of Eden and placed Adam there to tend to it (Genesis, 2:8). Adam was then warned that he could enjoy all fruits in the garden except those from the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Genesis, 2:16).

Seeing that Adam shouldn’t be alone, The Bible explains that God decided to create help for him (Genesis, 2:18). After a deep sleep, God took one of Adam’s “ribs” to make Eve (Genesis: 2:21-23). We say “rib” because perhaps the Hebrew term was actually tsela. What if the term tsela was mistranslated (from Hebrew to Greek to Latin to English) as rib instead of side? This would further support the idea that Adam was a dual being with two natures in one unified body: masculine nature (reason) and feminine nature (feeling), as explained by Autobiography of a Yogi (16:148).

Ergo, instead of God taking a rib, perhaps God divided Adam — taking an entire side or half of his nature to construct Eve (Edgar Cayce Reading, 5056-1). Perhaps masculine nature (reason) predominately resided with Adam while feminine nature (feeling) predominately resided with Eve. Eve is, after all, said to be the flesh of his flesh and bone of his bones (Genesis, 2:23-24). Is this why The Bible explains that man should cleave to his wife? Are they simply one flesh — meaning their divine nature is one? In this sense, the creation of Eve from Adam’s rib could represent the fracture of the original, unified androgynous soul archetype into dual archetypes with polarized natures (masculine and feminine).

The “Fall of Man”

The Bible further explains that after Eve was created, she was tempted by the serpent to eat fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil (Genesis, 3:1-6). It states that Eve ate an apple and persuaded Adam to eat. Once eating from the tree, The Bible explains that Adam and Eve knew they were naked (Genesis, 3:1-20). What if Adam and Eve’s symbolic act of eating fruit — using their free will to indulge their senses — destroyed their balance between reason and feeling? Because they disobeyed God and ate, The Bible explains that God cursed them above every beast of the field and multiplied their sorrow and conception (Genesis, 3:14-17). That’s hard-hitting!

Consider this fellow souls. Perhaps the tree of knowledge symbolically represented the dualistic, animalistic, sensual compulsions and experiences we undergo when we fall under the illusion of the serpent, which is often referred to as Satan or the illusionary force of maya. Ergo, what if this act set the stage for the illusion of separation? This suggests that after eating, Adam and Eve’s consciousness immortality was lost, placing them under the delusion of mortality, and causing them to navigate the material simulation through the lens of ego, desire, aversion, and free will.

Because there is imbalance between Adam (reason) and Eve (feeling), perhaps The Bible is symbolically trying to convey that the goal for humanity to is restore the dual nature of Adam and Eve (reason and feeling) to a unified, harmonious balance (Autobiography of a Yogi, 16:150-151). The Bible goes on to explain in Revelations (21:1) that after a period of time, this heaven and earth will be destroyed. After a rather theatrical destruction process, a new heaven and earth will be seen as the old will pass away with no more sea.

Law of One Creation Ideology

The Law of One has a similar chronology as The Bible but it acknowledges that creation takes place without the linear space/time (physical) and time/space (metaphysical) constructs we’re aware of (28:6). The gist of creation (13:5-15) is that the first known thing in creation is infinity – the silence, unity, unmanifested wave, and nothingness in a state of total potential. It’s considered the void before creation and before the first vibration — Source in its purest, most still form.

The Law of One further explains that infinity eventually became aware of its own existence (13:6-7) and, through focus, this lead to the active principle (will to create), observer, and manifested quantum wave called intelligent infinity — pure consciousness + will = creator. Intelligent infinity is considered the gateway to all creation and the point where infinity becomes active and prepares to manifest creation.

From its state of awareness, intelligent infinity discerned the primal paradox of finity (many-ness) (13:12). Realizing it had the will to explore itself in infinite ways, the Law of One explains that intelligent infinity manifested logoi. Logoi (logos singular) are considered the creative principle and architects of creation (9:12). The underlying nature of logoi is considered love. Love is seen as the inward-flowing, passive, receptive, attracting, nurturing aspect that receives information from creation. Each logos uses its will and love to focus and organize intelligent energy.

According to the Law of One, intelligent energy is considered the primal, etheric medium through which active material or light is ready to be organized and shaped like clay. Light (photons, particles) (41:9) is the binary system or photon-based spectrum that serves as the building block of all material existence (13:9). This spectrum shifts based on the ratio of spiritual to material density — ergo, love/light equates to spiritual energy and light/love equates to material energy. In this sense, love/light is considered the fluid, higher-frequency raw material, logoi are the creative intelligence that shaped this material, and light/love is the condensed, crystalized material manifestation that resulted from that creative process.

Essentially, logoi directed light to crystallize through vibration. This process gave rise to intelligent patterns in holographic style (13:7-9) (e.g. platonic solids), archetypes, cycles in time, natural laws (13:13), and what we perceive as subatomic particles, atoms, the elements, and matter (78:29). Eventually, the chaos or vortex of matter formed galaxies with stars, planets, dimensions, seas, and more – creating octaves of experience, local coordinate systems of illusory natural laws (dimensions), and planes of existence (13:9). All of this offers the opportunity for viable life, incarnations, the veil of amnesia, free will (21:9), time/space, and space/time as we know it (27:16, 78:29).

Creation was said to take place in an ordered, cumulative chronology from greater to lesser (28:5). This ensured that any portion of creation, no matter how small, contained (as in an holographic picture) the One Infinite Creator (13:3-8). The Law of One suggests that eventually all light will be systematically absorbed once again back into the Creator — with conditions much like that of a black hole. It explains that once the infinity of creation attains a sufficient spiritual gravitational mass the entire creation will infinitely coalesce or merge (29:18, 40:1). This would end the current iteration of creation and start the beginning of a new iteration of creation (29:16-19).

Vedic, Hindu & Yogic Creation Ideology

The Trinity

Vedic traditions describe the supreme reality as manifesting in three aspects: the trinity of Brahman, Bhagavan, and Paramatma. Brahman is considered the pure consciousness, formless light, absolute spirit pervading existence (Bhagavad Gita, 14:27), symbolized by the primordial sound and sacred syllable Om (AUM) (Bhagavad Gita, 8:13). Paramatma is considered the localized aspect living in the hearts of every entity and atom in the material universe. Bhagavan is seen as the supreme personality and source of all these aspects (Bhagavad Gita, 14.27). The trinity facilitates creation through the purush (souls) and prakriti (divine energy, maya, material nature) (13:20).

The personified expressions responsible for the creation, preservation, and dissolution of the material universe are known as Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu, and Lord Shiva or the Hindu Trimurti. Swami Mukundananda (Bhakti Yog Saint & Yoga Teacher) explains that the trinity represents actual titles or roles, meaning every iteration of the material universe has its own distinct trinity (Bhagavad Gita, 8:18). These roles are said to be given to souls who’ve reached a tremendously high consciousness level. Their roles allow them to perform duties on Source’s behalf (Bhagavad Gita, 8:17). When no souls are eligible, Source is said to take on the role(s). But we digress…

Lord Brahma is the creator and first-born of Lord Vishnu (Bhagavad Gita: 2:7, 10:6), often associated with matter. Saraswati (Lord Brahma’s consort) represents knowledge and wisdom. Lord Vishnu is the sustainer and often considered an expansion of Sri Krishna. Lord Vishnu ensures stability, harmony, and cosmic order (Bhagavad Gita: 8:18, 10:6-8), often associated with consciousness. Lakshmi (Lord Vishnu’s consort) represents the power of spiritual and material abundance. Lord Shiva is the destroyer and transformer – ending cycles and making way for new creations. Sadhguru (Guru, Yogi & Mystic) mentions that Lord Shiva is the limitless void where creation takes place. Shakti is Lord Shiva’s consort, representing power and courage.

The Cycle of Creation

How does material creation begin? Sadhguru (Yogi, Mystic & Guru) explains that creation began with a sound, vibration, or roar (rudra) from Lord Shiva, perhaps representing the first movement of the divine energy of Brahman. Swami Mukundananda (Bhakti Yog Saint & Yoga Teacher) affirms this explaining that in the beginning of creation, sound/vibration was created first. Is this all synonymous with the Big Bang Theory?

Vedic traditions offer a unique creation analogy related to a spider and its web. Much like a spider, Source creates the material universe within itself and then re-absorbs it back into itself (Bhagavad Gita: 9:4-8, 13:17). Could this mean everything is resting within Source, like a singularity? Swami Mukundananda (Bhakti Yog Saint & Yoga Teacher) affirms this stating that when Lord Brahma is creating the material universe, it manifests from the body of Lord Vishnu.

Swami Mukundananda further explains that when material energy (prakriti) unwinds (Bhagavad Gita: 7:4-6, 8:17-19, 9:7-8), it creates 24 material principles or entities and all other matter: prakriti —> mahan (consciousness) —> ahankar (ego) —> panch tanmatras (senses) —> panch mahabhuta (5 gross elements). Once the material universe is created, souls who were resting in a suspended state in their causal bodies within Lord Vishnu receive subtle astral and gross physical bodies based on their karma and samskaras. After which, they’re placed in the material universe again (Bhagavad Gita: 8:19).

After a cycle of material creation has ended (Brahma’s lifespan of 100 divine years or 311.04 trillion earth years), the material universe winds up in reverse order, dissolving all matter (including subtle astral and gross physical bodies) back into prakriti, and remaining in an unmanifested state. It’s said that souls will rest in a state of suspended animation within their causal bodies until Lord Brahma starts the next cycle of creation within Lord Vishnu (Bhagavad Gita, 9:7-10).

Mainstream Science Creation Ideology

The mainstream scientific community is deeply divided in terms of what happened before the Big Bang to cause the material universe’s initial conditions. Several all-encompassing theories are forming that seek to merge the proven laws of physics, the Big Bang, and what happened before the Big Bang. One of these all-encompassing theories is M-Theory which unifies all consistent versions of Superstring Theory to create a Theory of Everything.

There does seem to be a consensus amongst the mainstream scientific community that this material universe was created roughly 13.8 billion years ago and began with a bang or sound, adhering to some variation of the Big Bang Theory. It’s also thought that the material universe originated from an extremely hot, dense point (singularity). And that this singularity or expansion of space took place — and continues to take place — causing the material universe to cool. As the material universe initially cooled, subatomic particles formed, leading to the creation of atoms. These atoms clumped due to gravity to form the first elements, stars, galaxies, celestial bodies, and viable life.

How will the material universe end? The mainstream scientific community can only speculate at this point but they do seem to be in agreement that our material universe has a shelf life. There are several prevailing universal destruction hypotheses including the Big Freeze, Big Rip, Heat Death, and the Big Crunch.

Mystical Science Creation Ideology

Etheric Source Field Theories

Several esoteric resources adhere to the Unified Field Theory or similar theories which suggest the entire material universe stems from one unified, conscious energy source. And that this energy source is constantly in vibration (The Science of Oneness, C2). Could this iteration of the material universe have begun with oneness, the source point, universal sphere, or a singularity? For example, some of our resources suggest that creation is like a balloon that’s constantly inflating and deflating from a very tiny point to a very large sphere at speeds too fast to measure. And at the highest level of vibration, all of the energy in the sphere is contained within the central point.

This is synonymous with The Divine Cosmos (C6) which suggests that the material universe originated from a single, intelligent source point or spherical singularity. And that this singularity divided itself into dual, counter-rotating currents of the fluid-like medium called aether  — also referred to as ether, intelligent energy, or the source field (C1). David Wilcock (Researcher of Ancient Civilizations, 1973 – 2026) suggested that the collision of these opposing currents didn’t create a random, chaotic Big Bang. Instead, it coalesced into a great central sun — a luminous primordial plasma sphere that served as the foundational blueprint for all electromagnetic energy, light, and physical matter. This isn’t that far-fetched. The Divine Cosmos (C7) explains that luminous plasma spheres have been produced in labs through the replication of the Searl Effect. But we digress…

David Wilcock further explained that after the great central sun was formed, it established a rhythmic, heartbeat-like pulsation of implosion and explosion. This cosmic breathing generated dynamic torsion waves that, through wave interference, organized the surrounding vacuum into nested, concentric spheres similar to a fractal onion, with each geometric layer representing a distinct vibrational density or plane of existence. As matter was continually compressed and ejected outward along disc-shaped ecliptic planes, this holographic template replicated its structure across all scales of reality, from subatomic particles to atoms to solar systems and galaxies.

Within this fluid matrix, subatomic particles were said to materialize when the ether rotates at specific frequencies, naturally organizing into stable, three-dimensional platonic solids or sacred geometries. Perhaps high-energy, rapid, and expansive rotations expressed the qualities of fire (the tetrahedron) and wind (the octahedron) — creating light, active particles like electrons that orbit atoms. Could highly compressed, inward-folding rotations have manifested the qualities of water (the icosahedron) and earth (the cube) — locking tightly together to form the dense protons and neutrons of the central nucleus? Perhaps these geometric arrangements ultimately dictated the atomic weight, chemical properties, and placement of every element on the periodic table.

It’s theorized that this etheric cycle will not end in a random entropic death, but in a collapse of the material universe back into a central point of singularity, akin to a black hole, to be reborn in a new cycle.

Holographic Theories

The holographic principle was formulated by Gerard ‘t Hooft and Leonard Susskind in the 1990s. The core idea of the holographic principle is that three-dimensional reality is a projection of information stored or encoded on a two-dimensional boundary — much like a photograph’s three-dimensional image is stored on two-dimensional film. It even states in Autobiography of a Yogi (43:360) that God thought out different ideas within Himself and projected these ideas into dreams, which is consistent with the Law of One’s (25:5) example of thoughts being projected as things during level 4 consciousness battles. Consider this fellow souls. What if we’re projecting our consciousness (information) onto planes of existence in the material universe? Let’s expand on the projection concept.

Imagine our entire reality is generated in a metaphysical movie theater (infinity). The theater is powered by electricity (Source, intelligent infinity). Each actor (soul) is its own unique movie projector. Light bulbs provide infinite power (consciousness) for each projector. Each projector has a film slide (higher self) that holds the script (life plan or energetic blueprint) for each actor’s movie role (soul’s incarnation). When the power from a light bulb shines through a slide and out of the projector’s lens (spiritual energy), it projects a 3D holographic character (lower self) onto the movie screen (material universe). Ergo, the movie screen is providing the surface for the 3D holographic character to hit — making the 3D holographic character appear solid and real.

What if we take the hologram concept a step further? The Law of One explains that any portion of our illusory pattern or system, no matter how small, contains — as in a holographic picture — the One Creator (13:8, 13:13, 26:23). So what if the entire material universe is a hologram?

For example, Sarah Elkhaldy (Spiritual Teacher & Energy Healer) describes the material universe as a holographic projection of divine light woven from wave interference patterns. These patterns are created when Source limits its divine light to create the finite illusion of many-ness. Essentially, these crossing vibrational patterns create a net or matrix that forms the underlying fabric of space/time — creating the illusion of separation and chronological, linear time. Perhaps the matrix pixelates reality so that Source can experience the illusion of being separate. Ergo, the matrix would act as an organic womb that souls can use to grow, develop, and evolve — like an organic expression of consciousness. Perhaps the Wachowskis were on to something with The Matrix.

Think about that for a second fellow souls. Without a holographic matrix of space/time, would we see everything as a single point of infinite divine light? So it’s like we need wave interference patterns to create shadows because without the shadows, we would never recognize the divine light for ourselves. Because the matrix is also said to slow down the feedback loop of the material universe into linear time, we aren’t able to simultaneously see the past, present, and future nor instantly see the consequences of our actions. This effectively creates the illusion of urgency and finiteness where we must act without knowing the final outcome. Perhaps this makes The Choice between love (serving others) and fear (serving oneself) more meaningful.

This begs the question fellow souls — how is projected holographic information structured and how would the information be translated into 3D reality? Perhaps the answer lies with platonic solids. Platonic solids and wave interference patterns are essentially two sides of the same coin. Wave interference patterns are considered the dynamic movement of energy, while platonic solids are considered the static geometric results of that movement.

Cymatics Analogy

If one vibrates a metal (chladni) plate of sand using sound waves, the sand will move into geometric shapes (e.g. platonic solids) as demonstrated by Nigel Stanford (New York-based Musician). This is referred to as cymatics, and it’s pretty awesome. Ernst Chladni (Musician) developed this method in the 18th century, pioneering the field of acoustic visualization. Cymatics can also be used as an analogy for the creation of the material universe.

  • The Metal Plate = Ether (Medium): The metal plate is what vibrations act upon. In the creation analogy, it would represent ether, intelligent energy, or prakriti — the source field that exists everywhere in a state of potential and the medium that carries vibration. Ergo, without the metal plate, vibration (logoi) would have nothing to act upon, and the sand (universal light) would have nowhere to land.
  • The Vibration = Logoi (Intention): The vibration, frequency, or sound generator is often a violin or cello bow drawn across the edge of the plate which causes the plate to vibrate. In the creation analogy this would be synonymous with logoi, love, or the creative principle. In the Law of One, love is considered the great vibrator. It provides the specific frequency that informs the ether. Ergo, without vibration, the metal plate (ether) remains silent and the sand (universal light) on the plate remains in a disorganized heap.
  • The Sand = Spiritual Energy (Material): The sand is the material that vibrates. In the creation analogy, it represents love/light, photons, and the first manifestation. As the plate (ether) vibrates, the sand (love/light) on the plate is forced to move. Sand cannot stay in places where the vibration is most intense. Ergo, it’s pushed to the nodal points where the plate is still.
  • The Pattern = Platonic Solids (Geometry): When the sand clumps together at nodal points it creates lines and shapes that form patterns. The specific geometric patterns we see in the sand — the squares, hexagons, or triangles — are synonymous with platonic solids in the creation theory. Often associated with the 5 gross elements (earth, wind, fire, water, and ether), platonic solids are considered the geometries, locked states, and patterns of universal light. As stable, standing-wave patterns, they allow the holographic matrix to maintain its form.
  • The Result = Matter, Light/Love: In the creation analogy, the vibrating geometric patterns of love/light (platonic solids) give rise to what we perceive as subatomic particles, atoms, elements, and matter (78:29). Matter or light/love is considered the crystallized (stabilized), active material that’s slowed down into the physical forms we perceive.

In a real cymatics experiment, the metal plate and sand are different materials. In the Law of One, love/light (sand) is actually just a highly energized version of ether (plate). It’s all one substance (intelligent energy) simply vibrating at different speeds to create the illusion of separate parts. Now that’s hard-hitting!
